Superchips or SCT

Was pretty much set on the SCMT and now have been thrown a curve. I'm new at this and mainly am interested in the economy mode. What are the main differences between the two?

Both the SCMT and SCT are good products.

The SCMT has an economy mode which makes large gains in HP while allowing for gains in mileage (depending on calibration and driving habits).
Drivablity also increases, shifting is cleaned up and the truck just ovverall is much more or a pleasure to drive. It's a huge difference over stock.
The other two files that come with the SCMT are TOW and PERFORMANCE, both of which also often see signifiicant mileage gains.
The files are tested on many vehicles (running in thousands of trucks now) and are made to make safe power without affecting the durability of the engine.

If you plan on adding propane/nitrous down the road, go with SCT for it's custom programming through an SCT dealer.
If you prefer a truck that is closer to stock but makes great power, go with the SCMT.

Vic - Thanks for the detailed explanation. Just what I was looking for. To me the choice is clear now.
