Wait to start / remote start install

Does anyone know what wire to tie into for the wait to start light when installing a remote start? The installer wants to install a time delay instead of tapping into the light. The right way is to tap into the light so that's what I'd rather do.
This is on a 2005 F350 PSD. I didn't want to put this in another forum because it's PSD specific.

Thanks.

I can most likely find the instrument cluster pinout on FMCDealer for you, but if it was myself I would just go with a 10 second delay.

Unfortunately big Sarge, you just ran into more of that technology stuff. Our vehicles don't have a "wire" that goes directly to the "wait to start" light. Our dash cluster is just one big circuit board. The "wait to start" light is an LED soldered to the circuit board. It receives it's marching orders (when and how long to stay lit) from the computer via a data bus cable attached to the board, hence no wire to tap into that is solely for the light. So the use of a pulse timer relay is neccessary.

I just went out during lunch and talked to a few installers. They said the same thing as envirocon. Oh well... timer it will be. Now the problem is nobody outside of ebay has the "pulse timer relay" that I need for my install. I just ordered one. Lucky I'm not finding this out in the middle of the winter.
