? about 52 radio
I'm leaning about the 52 F-1 I just bought and have a couple of radio related questions.I presently don't have the proper radio,just holes in dash where one was or blockoff plate.Iwant to make it look original but don't know where to find proper radio,or if that's to hard to find where would I find a radio blockoff plate.I don't see this year offered by the repro dealers I have cataloges from ,Any help would be appriated.P.S.,I don't care if the radio works as truck was converted to 12 volts.

I thought the radio for the '51-52 was the same as the car radio of those years, I could be wrong. Radios show up on eBay on a regular basis and go relatively cheap. The radios for the '48-50 bring big bucks even if it is stated the don't work and look like junk.

JC Whitney sells custom fit AM/FM radios with and without cassette and CD, which range in prices from $180 to $600. They don't specifically state the truck applications, but they do list Ford cars dating back to the 40's. I think they would have something to fit, since the radios were often the same in trucks as in cars. Call or email them with your specific application.
