1979 F150 Help Please
Hello,
I am a new member and i just bought a 1979 ford f150 and i need to find out the torque specs for the valve cover on a 302. Can u help please

Just past snug for valve covers
I think it is 10"lbs torque.
Too tight and you'll be replacing them again shortly.

i know i don't want to make it over tight thats why i'm asking on here. Do you know of any place online that would have the specs?

Buy the rubber gaskets while you're at it. They're more forgiving and last longer.

Welcome! I would suggest getting a Haynes manual or a shop manual from the store here. I bought the Haynes book and it's been the best thing I ever bought for this truck. All the torque specs and exploded views of everything.
My next purchase will be the shop manual CD from MotorHaven.
