I believe some, including aftermarket, do not have FORD imprinted on them. I have seen some that have a strip (trim-like) that goes across the back which has FORD written on it.
Hope this helps!

Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
Glad you like mine. The truck I am parting has one like it, but it needs some work - patience may save it!
Gang - I thought the repros looked pretty light - glad you fellows confirmed it! I personally like the embossed ones better anyway!
Cheers!
My Two Cents!

the server is on a DS3 line in texas and is a leased server, for some reason everything works but the webserver on occasion, my buddy is the super admin, I just have a 500meg all access vhosted os on their...I have no restrictions, other then I cant fix stuff LOL.
Anyway, for those who it showed up for thanks.
This truck needs a little TLC, I am not sure how far to take it because i am driving it through the salt (so a full resto is not in order or I will just reck it with rust again)
I have this problem...I like cars/trucks so much that no matter whether I plan to buy a hurtin beater for the winter (the truck in this case) it turns out to be something I think much higher of then that...find a club like this one...and well...you know where it goes.
So, for all those who have helped me so far I give my thanks,
I hope to have many fun times camping/towing whatever I need with this truck and may it last me many years of all season use.
PS. For those canuks in here, how is the 2WD in the winter with nothing in the back? Do I need to put sand in the back? It's a heavy bloody truck tis' why I am asking, if I need to how much weight do you usually put in?
TIA,
Chado
Here in Calgary ,we usually get less snow than your Ohio,Michigan,& New York State friends.
In February 1988, they had to Truck snow in for the Olympics.
Now for your question:
Sand bags (bought from the Boy Scouts of course),Firewood,Cinder Blocks are used in Empty trucks.
My truck with the topper hasn't ever had a problem with traction.

Heh,
I haven't ever travelled much in winter time but here in niagara falls (NOTE: Niagara Falls, discard St. kitts, Toronto etc
We get more salt on the raod then I have ever seen!!!This winter I will take pictures of my girlfriends street in St. kitts (cant see any salt) and my street. IT LOOKS LIKE A FREAKING GRAVEL ROAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I dont know why but Niagara Falls is the Salt Capital of the world.
As for snow, well I'm only worried because this year I have to make it down unplowed roads in the snow (sometimes) to get to school...and dont want to have any problems. I planned on buying a 4x4 for this reason but I liked this truck alot so I got it ;P
Anyway,
Thanks for the help guys,
Chado
