Leveling Kit

Just installed my 2.5" front leveling kit on my F350.
It was fairly easy except for installing the reducing sleeve in the bushing of the track-bar.
That was a bear, but was able to do the whole install in 4 hours.

Ater it was done, I noticed that my steering wheel is now turned approximately 120 degrees clockwise.

I realize that this is due to raising the truck, but my question is, how hard is it to remove and reposition the pitman arm?
That is the correct way to fix that right?

Just adjust the length of the drag link. My steering wheel was tilted a little when I bought my truck and a simple adjustment fixed that.

not sure what the reducing sleeve on the trac bar is but the trac bar is what keeps the axle centered in the truck and many kits give a new upper mounting bracket with a cam bolt in it to recenter the axle. this is what can be used to center your steering wheel. now on my dad truck when we got it on the alignment rack we couldn't get it right where we needed it so then you fine tune it with the drag link as kwik said. don't bother with the pitman arm. i think it only goes on one way anyway. not the mention it is a huge pain in the butt.

good luck

Thanks for the info.
I am glad you brought up the drag link.
I didn't know that.
Yes, the sleeve is in the track bar end that attaches to the new bracket.
It worked great and everything did line up correctly.

I will try the drag link toynight, then off to the alignment shop.
