Torque Converters

Anybody out there know at what RPM I should expect full lock-up from the torque converter on my '77 C-6? In considering a rebuild , if I decide to replace the converter with a new one I want to stay close to the stock RPM.

The amount of torque input directly relates to what rpm the converter will lock up at,More torque will lock up a converter faster.
If the engine is stock or close to stock a stock converter will be fine,I think they lock at like 1800 rpm or so.
