[updated:LAST EDITED ON 22-Aug-02 AT 08:48 AM (EST)]Doh! Your right! I just looked at the online istall instructions and the 6A is labelled as having a tach output!
Thanks for putting my mind at ease!
My ignition module has really been acting up lately, so I can't wait to put in the 6A!
Thanks again,
Matt
EDIT- Where did you mount your 6T? In the stock location? I figured that would be easiest/look the best. It is a long trip to the battery from there though. Did you take your ground right to the battery per the instructions?
20 sparks per cylinder*3000RPM= makes your tach think the engine is spinning 60,000RPM they have a special hookup for using a tach . I just ran a wire under the back lip of the cowl from the box across to a hole in the firewall for access to the cab (see sig pic)
Yeah, and the MSD will actually work will more tachs than it says it will. I have a Sunpro gage, MSD says it needs an adapter, but it works great plugged in to the tach output. I've checked it with several other devices, and it's extremely accurate.
