Took the family out for the weekend and with diesel selling for ~$2.78/gal I decided to take it easy and see what kind of fuel mileage I could make. I drove mostly highway with cruise set at 68mph and made 19.4 mpg. With a 4x4 CC truck I am very pleased with this mileage.
Man you're lucky. I have started driving like an old man(which is really, really, really hard to do with the SCMT set on high performance), and the best I can get is about 14.5. But I am also pulling a trailer everywhere, if I'm empty I can get about 16. This is all mixed driving(highyway/city). But I didn't buy this truck expecting to get much better mileage.
Took a little trip to Tyler this weekend and got just over 21mpg total for the trip. I was happy.
Also, traffic on I20 was slow, finally caught up to an 18 wheeler going really slow and everyone was passing it slowly. The guy had 2 International CXT pickups on the flatbed... those are awesome sights. The girlfriend thought I was crazy the way I was drooling
