I have been reading through the articles and saw where a guys air wasn't getting but around 53 to 54 degrees. Some of you guys told him to change the dryer because he had converted to the new freon I thought this was normal for the old truck but my question is the dryer the same thing as condensor. Cause I'm having the same trouble but didn't know it was trouble just figured it wouldn't get colder cause of the age. Hey I'm sure learning alot going through the old articles. Also I would like to take the time to tell you guys my wife has finally found a truck she loves. She wants it bad too 95 ford F150 supercab. I know this doesn't sound exciting but we are talking about a woman that always liked cars and has never cared for my truck. It kindly excites me...........I'm gonna get her that truck!!!
Thanks again for all the replies thus for Fords Rock!!!

The drier is separate from the condensor. The drier contains a dessicant which absorbs moisture in the system & is also the filter for the system.I still have R12 in mine, but drier has to be changed to be compatible w/R143A.I doubt the drier is the sole cause of problem, but replacing it,pulling a deep vacuum & recharge may help.Try www.aircondition.com Brian
Thanks for the info Brian. I just have to figure where the dryer is on my truck. I am new to this kind of stuff and have been learning alot from the guys in this forum.
Thanks

I have been trying to find ford a/c components myself. For gm's they carrying the lines and everything. For ford, they only carry the fittings. And one of my ford systems has the dryer made into the lines(all one piece). When I get the money, I think we will have to go to a local garage that specializes in a/c units. I am guessing that you will have to get new lines made up, either with the dryer incorporated in the line itself(like original) or get new lines that will fit a universal type dryer. Has anybody gone through any of this before?
