Speedy Diesel in Columbus

I was at a Ford racing event near Columbus, OH yesterday. Incredible number of Big Block Galaxies, 427 Fairlanes, Mustangs of all years (including a 2006 GT convertible). The neatest thing I saw was a F-350 Diesel run a quarter mile in the low 14's at about 98 miles per hour. How much would that man have invested to go that fast? I am a diesel-know-nothing, but curious.

Chip, full exhaust, and intake and maybe a few other goodies.

Check the Timeslips link at the top of the page.

My F-250 is stock except for the Superchips Microtuner. With it set to Hi Performance mode I ran a 14.33 second 1/4 mile at 93 miles/hour.

He could've had only an SCT (and exhaust most likely), or he could've not had a tuner and could've just had some fuel system mods (a la Choke ).
