Gotta Lean
I have a 1998 F-150 and I noticed that the rear driver side of the truck is lower than the other 3 corners. I checked underneath and I didn't see anything that was bent or broken. I'm wondering if the shock is bad but I was told that shocks hold no pressure. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It could be shocks, maybe the springs are worn out, or even something broken under there.
Someone else will come along that has more knowledge than me, but i'd go over everything under there again make sure something isn't broken.

i would guess the spring has taken a set, or broken a leaf. you will need to jack up the back and hang the wheels off the ground to see. might be time to visit the local junk yard. shocks do not normally carry any load, just dampen the bounce. i suppose you could add air shocks, but one side would have to have more psi to lift the truck. probably not a good idea.
