Man will I make it. This last month or so, my fiance is not the person I propose to. She is so stressed and snippy with everyone. Not just me. She cannot take even some teasing. Also what does not help is she is dealing with 2 compress discs from a car accident 17 years ago. They seem to be acting up. Probally with the stress of a wedding. Tonight I just seemed to push all the wrong buttons with her. I will be glad when were married and I can get the person I fell in love with back.
Did you guys ever go through this when you got married.
Good analyse of women to men is the knife to cut a cake at wedding. To us men, pull out our pocket or hunting knife. Women the kife has to be of a color or a handle with some carving that signify's something of us as a couple. This got her worked up. To me no sweat. So that little thing to us is nothingg to women it means a big deal. See how the stress build on her?
Pray for me guys that I make it.
I really do love the woman. Honest!!
You have to try and see past all that 66gpw and it will be alot easier. You will make it. I feel your pain but soon it will be over and life as you used to know should return. Remember that the darkest hour is just before sunrise or sumthin like that. What dosen`t kill you can only make you stronger.(Just kidding here). Good luck, remember that we are all pulling for you. You will do just fine.
She called back and apologised for how she has been acting. I know even her friends have notice she is not herself and they been helping with making decorations and stuff. It will be nice to have her back to the wya she was.
Yesterday was first truck load of her stuff to my place. Man cleaned out daughters bedroom to put stuff and this half filled it and that is not furniture yet.
Will find a place for this stuff over the winter I guess.
Years later you'll both be able to look back at the big deal and think.......was it such a big deal.
Gently tell her she doesn't need to get all worked up about the details no one will remember about 2 weeks after the day, tell her to relax and enjoy the time.
So what is the latest? Any survivors, hopefully no serious casualties. Now you two can relax and enjoy your lives together. Congrates, the best is yet to come!
Well I lived through it. Just got home here about 10:30. She is wiped out and gone to bed. I'm just doing a quick check of mail. Truck still packed with gifts, will unpack tomorrow. Have to go get rest of gifts tomorrow and take tables and chairs back to rentals. Didn't get to use them because of the rain. We ended up booking a meeting room at Holiday inn due to the rain.
Amazing how much we got setting up in the inn in two hours. I*t was all over by 8. The storm was wicked and lots of people from out of town had to drive home in it. My sister was one. 3 hour road trip in good weather.
It was a great wedding. Call me a sop, I almost cried when she came down the ailse. A freind gave a toast to me and he got all choked up and started to cry. I think it was two things for him. Yesterday I got married and another of our friends just separated from his wife and they just listed their house for sale. We all been friends for more than 20 years. I will admit that I never saw this friend ever get choked up. He has always been comfortable at speeches and quite the comidian.
It was still a very good wedding. New bride having some separtion anxiety yet, but it will get worked out. Going to be some changes around here. Have to fix the deepfreeze and go shopping for groceries yet. Going to be eating more healthy stuff now. That could be hard after being a bacholor for so long.
Well Better head to bed, I'm still a bit tired, all that stress the past few weeks, maybe now get a good sleep tonight.
Hi 66gpw, what is this about you taking the rest of the month off? Dropped in for some tests at the RUH Tuesday and I was told that you are away for awhile. That`s good that you can get some time off at this time. Hope all is well and things are settling in to place as you get organized after this blissful event. Best of luck
