ranger tail gate capacity?
Trust me, I never take the companies side in any issue.
I don't trust them any farther than I could spit one.
Having said this.
A cable is a rope.
Anytime your life, or limb is on the line, opt for careful co-ordination between what you might think is a safe manuever, and what actually is safe.
If in doubt, DON'T.
I think all of us at some time or the other have trusted our tail gates to do jobs they weren't designed to do.
I've seen guys going down the road with a mass amount of weight on the tail gate (with it up).
I kringe, when I think they are trusting the latch on the tail gate to do a job it wasn't designed to do.
I am suggesting, a tail gate is a "door", for all intents and purposes.
Load bearing ???
Sure.
How much load ???
Let common sense be your guide.
Be safe, Gene
