Make sure it is saved on your computer somewhere and put it in your gallery, then link to it!

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 15-Aug-02 AT 09:42 PM (EST)] I run 15x8's all the way around, I'll see if I can get a photo up.

As soon as I figure out how to create my gallery!!

I found it, I don't have a real good picture of the truck itself, there is one in there now though. I'll take some tomorrow in the daylight.

How is the dash pad and the carpet?

Those are the two things I need most (both damaged pretty badly *im pretty picky*)

If anyone else has a lead on a set of seats at a junkyard from a 95 or something around there that are really that comfortable PLEASE let me know.

I just made a decision to not get my paint completly redone at this time and to just fix it with a friend of mine.

Thanks,
Chado

Oh and if the doors have no rust let me know (im doubting this but its worth a shot)

My doors have some interesting stuff going on with them.

I can send pictures to anyone that thinks they can help me, previous owner said they were reskinned but I am looking at the 1/8" thick bondo that cracked and am scratching my head.

So to quickly fix it I need new rockers, cab corners, welding floor shut in one small spot with a sheet of metal, and if I fix the doors it will look damn pretty.

Just some bubbling other then that but no rust previous owner did a really bad resto less then 2 years ago ;/

Anyway TIA,
Chado

Rather than fixing the corners and doors, I have seen entire cab & front clip go rust-free for $400 in the Triad (now I-sell classifieds). Just keep your eyes open.

If you need an instrument cluster with gauges I have one gathering dust in my garage. I'd be glad to donate it to a worthy cause! Both it and me are in Brantford.

I added a few more pictures of my 77, but they look kinda dark. They looked good on the camera. I'll try again in the bright daylight.

With no rust or?

Would it be worth it to drive down to a southern state in US and pick up a truck with no engine but a good cab and maybe a 4x4 frame :P And transfer everything else on? What would that cost? (I'm looking forward to putting miles on the truck :P)

How bad is the rust on these 400$ cabs though, in all honesty? Cuz my truck has a brand new bed. Just doesn't have a good cab at all (and frame looks fine to me)

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 20-Aug-02 AT 00:56 AM (EST)]Dash pad is toast, but the Carpet looks not too badly. If I can get the seat and seatbelts out I could get a better look at it.
I'll try to get a photo - I have to borrow a digital camera -
As for the doors, they have rusted out where all doors rust - but might be easier to fix then the ones you got. Maybe you might want the whole truck? Let me know.
As for the Truck Cab, why drive down south when you can go north? There is a fellow near here that is bringing southern truck parts back on a regular basis - just cabs, boxes, doors, mainly.
Cheers!

Hey looks good!

And also if you could tell me a little something about cams.

I have a "towing cam" the previous owner put in, now what does this mean? Is it more torque? Doesn't feel like I am dealing with huge power here. I'm used to my 2500lb honda that has 160hp/115lb/t but its snappy and quick and geared for that.

Im not used to having an automatic yet either, every vehicle I have owned has been manual, this auto thing isn't making me to happy. I like to pick what gear I am, it shifts when I dont want it to (meaning to late) for fuel efficiency reasons (back to the honda ;P)

Anyway I love this truck i just need to get on the same thought pattern as it so we understand each other better.

So...towing cam = torque??? Or = really slow pickup but lots of top end?

I dont understand....

(I do alot of highway driving, 302smallblock with what I presume to be a c4 tranny) engine is new but has "towing" cam everything else stock for now, dont want to guzzle...need to drive it ALOT, probably 1000kms a week avg. sometimes more...not usually less.

TIA,

Chado
