Anyone with desktop dyno...
Mind running this combo?
Holley 750 vs
1 3/4" headers
Stock 4v intake
unported C9VE heads
Crane 353901
On a '78 shortblock, which I'm pretty sure has dish pistons. From what I've read, D0VE or C9VE should produce about 9.2:1 on these shortblocks...

I don't know what I did to all my DD2K files but all my stock specs are gone so I don't have proper flow numbers and all that mess. What I'm coming up with for that combo though is 285hp at 4000 RPM (283@3500, relatively flat to 4K and then falls off). Maybe someone else can try to run it if they have better numbers on what those heads are doing.
