Sub divider?

Sub divider?
I am building a box for 2 newly aquired kicker comp 12's, i want to know do i have to put a divider in the box, or will they work just fine sharing the air space? Its a 2.5 cubic foot box. thanks.

seperating them is best, if you are going to put a port in the box you could do one between the two subs and dont run the dividers all the way down so the air can run thru and out the port

there is no need or benefit in seperating the air space
using the proper air space for your needs is important
and bracing the box is a good idea
install a brace or support on any long mdf panels
I personally use 2x4 for interall braces
