Factory CD player stopped working
While driving around during lunch today I went to swap from one CD to another and instead of playing music the radio started making this clicking sound - and then spit out the CD.
Now every time I try to load a CD - it clicks for about 10 seconds, reads NO CD, then spits it out. What I don't get is that it was working fine when I removed the first CD.
Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, how did you resolve it?

About the same time my CD player stopped working this afternoon, my right rear blinker went on the fritz.
I just changed my blinker and now the CD player is working again?!? Tell me there is not some whacked-out cross-wiring going on in this thing that makes the CD player act up when the blinkers go out!! It's an 01', but it's all original and there does not appear to be any monkey-shines going on with the wires.
For reference - I bet you I tried 50 different CDs in the time that it was not working - including on the way to the parts store. Because I can never leave well enough alone, I tried one as I was leaving the store and wham-bam-thank you - it started playing.
I even swapped out a few CDs from the shop to here - now to give it some time and see if it does it again...
