Factory Security System Malfunction
I have a '97 Explorer Sport with the 4.0 OHV motor. Lately my factory installed security system is going off right after I arm it. Other times it goes off hours after I arm it. I'm not very familar with the system but I do know the only way I can set it off is by pulling up on the door handles. Also I do know that the ignition will not work unless you disarm the system (Even if you didn't arm it!). The only coincidence I can see is when the alarm goes off on it's own is when it's really hot outside.
