HELLO ALL! I just wanted to make my first post and get it out of the way. I am a former F-250 V-10 4x4 owner and just bought my first Oil Burner last month. So you can say I have been converted and as you can see by my sig. you guys have been very helpful.
So far I am pleased with the truck, but it does have the power door lock gremlin. I think I read that I have to reset the VSM behind the fuse panel, please correct me if I'm wrong.
Also, I'm in the middle of changing all my drive-line fluids and have a question:If I use Redline gear oil in my rear dana 80 do I have to use the friction modifier additive for the Limited Slip? Thanks for your input.

Welcome to the forum. There's lots of info here, you'll be able to read for weeks on end if you choose.
Cookie88 said to not add it all at once or you will lose all your limited slip. His recommendation was to add two ounces at a time until you like the way that it engages.
I personally use Redline in every gearbox my truck has and love it. I have an open diff in the rear so I use the Redline Heavy Shockproof 75-140 and don't need the friction modifier so I can't help you beyond what I just wrote. MTL in the 6speed and the transfer case. I haven't changed the front yet, the oil looks like new in there due to rare use of the 4X4.
