tuttle shooting park
anyone ever been to tuttle shooting park? im going out there tonight and i was wanted to know what to expect. ive heard its only trap... to bad tho

There is also a public pistol and rifle range up at Randolf in the state park there. I think it costs $10 for each time or $75/year. Pistol range and 50/100 meter rifle. It is open on the first and third weekend of each month and on the third thursday(I believe). Check the wildlife and parks web site for correct info. I've not shot there, but know folks that go up there regularly. It's a good deal if you don't know a landowner that will allow you to practice.

I have a bunch of .38 FMJ I need somewhere to shoot. Most places want you to use lead only bullets to shoot at there range. I have a couple of riffles I need to sight in also. A Rossi 92 in .45 Colt and an original Springfield Trapdoor made in the 1890's in .45-70. The later would be Black Power cartridges only.

As far as I know there are no ammunition restrictions as they allow high power rifles at the range. Pretty soon the Kanas chapter will be known as the ford truck and gun enthusiasts if we keep this up. lol

I second that! I have lots(12) of auto loaders
M4,CX4, CZ75 P-01 would be another event to do at a G2G...& a good friend that is a great resource foranything firearm related new & old. the range is hot!

no no, this is trap only, its right out in the open, find somewhere i can shoot a rifle tho and ill come... im not old enough to own a pistol yet..
