Fabric lining Fixes?
The problem with sagging headliners is almost always the deterioration of the foam backing to the material. Heat causes it to turn to dust. If this is what has happened to yours, I am afraid the only rememdy is to have it replaced. Rarely it is a glue failure. If it is, take a moderately warmed iron and press yours back to the top. This will melt the glue so that it might bond again when it cools. I do upholstery work for some extra income and have never been very successful in trying to patch one. Maybe you'll do better. Good luck.
Here is how i did mine, I pulled the plastic trim away from the liner, and the visors come off too.
I dropped the liner out of the truck and took it to an auto upholstery shop. The liner is a piece of formed cardboard with liner glued to it, the foam sticks to the cardboard and the fabric pulls away.
The shop I went to used my headliner assy. as a template, cut a new cardboard form and glued a new liner on. They did that in 30 minutes, and charged me 30 bucks. I installed the new liner myself. Takes about 30 minutes to remove or install the headliner and remove or re-install the trim and visors.
