Well, its a slow morning so i thought i would post this up...
on our 2000 V-10 dually, when towing a 6000#-7000# load, it shudders very badly on takeoff in first gear between 1750-2250 RPM. it gets to the point where the mirrors are shaking so badly that it is hard to see out of them. most of the time it is under a heavy pedal, the more throttle input, the worse of a shudder. it has been doing this all of it's 66K mile life, and i just came around to remembering it so i figured i'd ask it. i am assuming the shudder is just normal, just the torque running back the driveshaft? please help.
Is your truck lifted at all? If so it might be the driveshaft carrier bearing needs to be dropped. My truck did that after putting add-a-leaves in the rear.
