i am switching doors on my 86 f150.my original door has all power, the scrap yard door does not.anybody have experience in switching the power window&lock controls to a manual door. thanks
On mine I drilled the rivits out on the old manual regulator, and then bolted the power one in its place. I had to also drill the hole for the rivit for the power lock solinoid, and the big one for the wires to pass into the door, but your's may allready have the hole for the wires
Glad you asked I need to know that too. Mine 84. My drivers side keeps going in high geer and rolls itself all the way down. It gets stuck. After a while I can get it to go back up. But, I hate it. LOL

A bit off topic, but check for broken wires near where they pass from the pillar to the door. 25+ years of opening and closing, dried out insulation, flexing, etc can create little ghosts. It might just require some re-wiring in your case, rather than changing guts.
