leaf springs
is it posible to put leaf springs on the front of a 79 F-150 4x4 wich currently has coil springs, the leafs i have are from an 83 F-250 4x4
how would i go about doing this all?

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 01-Sep-02 AT 12:25 PM (EST)]i think you would have to change the complete front axel assembly to make this work. the housing is different, and no spring hangers. if you could find a complete assembly out of a 78-79 supercab you could probably do it without a whole lot of trouble. if you would like pics of a leaf spring front let me know. i have a 79 supercab f150 i could get some pics of.
