No Power

Hey Guys

I got a 1997 4.2 v6 and it is absolutly gutless. I put a airaid intake on, I didn't seem to make a difference. I can barly pull my snowmobile trailer with 1 sled on it. I anyone has any suggestions I would appretiate them.........Will exhaust wake my truck up?
