Question Need Help Guys Once Again

ok this popping noise on the front end just keeps getting louder if i hit any bump at all or have the pickup on an incline so. Do any of yall know where i can get body bushings for the entire truck, radius arm, A arm, sway bar, cab bushings all of them, plus need the bushings for the top of monroe shocks dont need shocks just the bushings, everyone around here says they cant get none of it so any help would be greatly appreciated, plus the noise coming from either my throwout bearing or somewhere down there, is a loud not quiet a squeal but u can push on the clutch just a bit about an 1/8 to 1/4" of an inch and it quits even idling it does it or running down the highway u can push it in and it quits too what is this noise its hard to describe really, another thing where can i get the noise stuff to knock out the transmission noise around my shift boot whoever worked on it last didnt put it back and im getting lots of hot heat running down the highway because it aint there, any idea where i can get the bushings and all would be nice, but jcwhitney dont have them either lol go figure, this is all for a 1997 Ford F250 Ext. Cab PSD ZF 5 spd , another thing where can i get a bigger turbo, and so on to get more power, and no i dont want a chip or reprogrammer either lol. thanks yall Lance

Okay, the creaking and popping, is not your bushings etc. It's a factory defect on the obs trucks. Mine does it too. Everywhere there is something rivited to the frame, is where these creaks come from. ie radius rod mounts, shock towers, motor mounts, etc. The only way to cure it is to beat every rivet you have both front and back, or weld every rivited appendage to the frame. Sad but true. The rivets have worked just loose enough to make noise, but won't come apart or anything like that. It's fine. Now, the squeeling under the truck that goes away when you touch the pedal....is your throwout bearing. I replaced the throwout bearing along with my clutch and flywheel a while back and when I bolted it back up it squeeled just like you describe. There are a few ways to attack this. One, keep taking the tranny out and back in with new bearings until it goes away.( not a good idea) Two,Check your clutch linkage under the dash for worn out parts, ie the pivot bushings and ball. And three, If all that is good like mine was, I just shimmed the clutch pedal rest enough to make the squeel go away. The bearing was brand new, and I figure if I gotta pull the tranny again, I want there to be some broken stuff in there. As far as the shim goes, it was trial and error. I would shim,....no squeel, go drive and the clutch would slip. So I just had to find that happy medium and I did. At first you won't be used to driving your truck with no play in the clutch pedal, but you get used to it quick. I've had mine that way for about 18,000 miles with no problems. Since I pull my mudder on a gooseneck, and the occational 15,000 lbs of pipe for a fence builder friend, I know it's not slipping. But you pick your evil, that's just the way I did it. As far as the heat from the tranny boot.....many solutions again. Go to the junk yard and find one, or some clean insulation under the carpet of some unsuspecting car about twice the size of the hole. Lay it under your carpet or mat and just cut a slit for the shifter....sheet metal (thin) with a hole just big enough for the throw of the shifter. Beer cans have done this for me in the past....no lie. All under the carpet or mat. Just use your imagination. Hope that helps.

k thanks rubberduck but i finally found my problem , actually pinpointed where the noise is coming from and its the bushing on top of my monroe shocks no doubt. but i got to say this much i got strait pipe on my truck with two 6" tips now she sounds sweet as ever, but this is one i got to ask, how can i get more smoke, only time i get any is when im idleing and i give it some fuel thats it, oh shes loud when u get above 2500 on the tach though lol. got this one question, if i did put about a 255/70R/16 or 265/75R/16 tires on my truck what gear ratio would that drop my 4:10 gears too just wondering, i aint really got the money at the moment for any major mods that might cost money, when i get the money though the downpipe, bigger turbo, and injectors im getting for sure. but i got this question more than anything because i like the wheels though, will a wheel from a 01 to 03 F250 8 hole fit on my 97 or not thats all i want to know if it will ill spend the 550 dollars for tires and wheels for my truck lol. RedStroker if u happen to read this maybe one of these days ull get to see my truck and ill get to see urs, i know where to get good ole PSD at though so hehehe i might tell my secret one of these days lol. RedStroker i really need to talk to u just message me on here and ill get back to ya i go on vacation to colorado soon guys but i dont get to take my truck either oh well guess somethings just aint meant to be this year lol adios yall from texas and always a big thanks for all the hell i put yall through too thanks for the advice and info always

oh i almost forgot, when im running 70 mph im running just almost 2500 on the tach, i know i have 4:10 gears still running 235/85R/16 tires that Pool had on it, but at about 87 mph im running about 3000 on the tach, when my foot is on the floor and the needle is at the peg im running about 3500 on the tach that says i have 4:10 gears dont it or less but this question how fast am i running when i have it at 3500 too lol its wound up but she sounds sweet now but love when i pass someone with or without the windows up or down i cant even hear nothing but my exhaust lol the way i like but love going through downtown here and winding the gears up, hearing the exhaust and the turbo whistle too, but i like the sound when u kill the pickup sounds like a jet taking off lol thanks yall
