I saw an older F350 today and it had three extra brake lights that were below the tail gate, above the bumperm in the middle... just above the license plate. I was looking at my truck and there are two holes there that *may* be for adding on some optional lights, at least I was hoping so. I like the looks of those three lights. Anyone know if there is an option I can order for those or if that is a custom thing?
Thanks EnviroCon. I'll look for the connector when I get home. Per chance do you see a p/n on yours at all, or any numbe that I can reference in the truck lite catalog? I am not even sure what official name they give those lights so no clue what catagory I need to look in.
I don't mean to sound nit-picky, but they only seem to carry that one ID bar... I liked the looks of the Model 35... The LED one in the aluminum housing... But I can't get a (Reasonable) price anywhere. One site I found said the MSRP was $99. I think not. Anyone know someone that carries their full line?
That's fine. I thought you guys just wanted to Ford replacement bar. I think Diesel Manor only sells that one...like you said. I'm not sure where to find their distributors. I didn't see it online, but I would imagine you could call them and find out. I'm like you...not real fond of their website layout.
I would guess that the site you found was listing the MSRP correctly for that ID bar. MSRP's are nothing more than a marketing gimmick, so the retailer can say, "but OUR price is". I'm guessing that bar would cost between $50-$60 retail (considering the bottom of the line one's that come on the dually's retail for $30.) It's one of their newer products and it's aluminum.
I went with a Grote SuperNova L.E.D. bar for $38. The L.E.D.'s are BRIGHT, will last 100,000 hours, and only draw 0.2 amps so you can tie them in anywhere.
