Tire recommendations

I need some opinions. I have a 97 1/2 ton 4x4 and am need of new tires. I bougt it with Wild Country RVT's 265R7516's and these suck. I have used BFG MT's in the past and these were great tires but were loud. I use the truck off road very little but I have a farm and do have the need to get off the beaten path. I am looking at the BFG RVT's and Bridgestone Duelers in a 285 size. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

I'm currently in the Toyo camp after using Goodyears, BFG's, and Generals. Goodyears were the best but too pricey. The Toyo's appear to be as good or better but cost 20% less.

Might take a look at the Yokohama Geolander AT/II's.. you can get 33"s for $109 each. Don't know how big you need though. They're not bad priced and they have good ratings. You can check out the ratings yourself but the last time that I looked at them, people prefered them over BFG AT's because of noise, and they had better rain and snow traction. They also do good offroad.

Just my .02

I just got a set of Firestone Destination AT tires. They are just about the best all-terrain tire I've ever seen. They don't make a lot of noise, grip incredibly well in most situations, and are suppose to last quite a while.

Check out the Nitto Terra Grappler. Discount Tire carries them. 295/75/16's for about $140

i swear by bfg's a/t...they handle great in anything i drive in...excellent wet traction, great offroad and they handled 12+ inches of snow in my 2wd truck just fine, felt like i had a 4x4. ill never own a different set of tires.
