Tranny problems...
Well some of you may remember that a few weeks i blew up my engine https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...d.php?t=398738, all of that got replaced and the engine works great....but....now the tranny is screwed up. We went out for a drive to check out everything but we found out something is wrong with the tranny. We think maybe the touque converter may have slipped, heres the thing. It will shift, but you have to keep it reved to around 2000 RPM for it to move, even then it have very poor accelaration. When I said it may have slipped earlier, could the flats on the torque converter have slipped out and not be turning the pump and cause this problem??? The tranny is a AODE-W is this a decent transmission...it never has given me any problems until now...i would kust like to hear some of your opinions.
