Locking Hubs..picking a brand

Ok so i have a 1979 Ford F150 Supercab 4x4...i blew out the locking part of the hubs and im lookin to replace them, but im not sure what brands are of better quality, and more bang for your buck, i mostly use the 4x4 in winter, but sometimes in the mud a little, but nothing major or real strenuous....thanks for the advice in advance...

Well there's always Warn. Milemarkers are said to be the same strength but a little cheaper. Those are the only two i would recommend.

Ditto.

I installed Warn Premiums on my '01 F250 just last month... haven't had the chance to take it in the woods yet, but next week: Yee hah!

Read this comparison

then choose for yourself. I'm going with Milemarkers

You cant go wrong with Warn or Mile-Marker. I got the milemarkers because I liked the all stainless steel design which really accents the theme of my truck....and yes I run a MM winch also. They're not too hard to engage either. I got them brand new for $80 on ebay.

I have the Warn hubs on my 79 Bronco right now, and they work fine, but if I would change them I would go with the mile markers, b/c they're just as strong if not stronger and I can ge the stainless steel pair for the same price if not cheaper than the warns basic pair.
