I'm from the 67-72 forum, but have a question for ya'll. I have a 67 F-100 4X4 (photos in gallery) that I am trying to put power steering on. I was wondering if a P/S gear box off of a 73 thru 77 4X4 will work. Ya'll may not know, but it was worth a try.
I guess my specific question is: does the 4X4 P/S gear box on a 73 thru a 77 bolt to the outside of the frame rail or the inside of the frame rail???
Please pardon my ignorance of the 73 thru 77 ford trucks.
if yo uneed one that bolts to the inside of the frame for power steering look for a two wheel drive pickup from 68 and up. might have to make a bracket on the inside of the frame as im not very familar with the 67 frame.
