Question Tire sizes

I will be installing a 4 inch rough country lift kit on my 92 F-150 4x4 flair side soon. I have a question about tire sizes. A 33" 12.50" 15" tire is supposed to clear this lift. So my question is will a 315 75 series R16 clear as well? the 315 measures 34.6' where as a 33' is really only 32.5'. Or would a 305 70 series R16 be a better choice? I have been told a 285 75 series R16 is no problem. Now i want bigger.
Thx in advance for your reply's and help.

I don't have a definite answer for you... but I can tell you that I am running a 93 F-150 flareside at stock ride-height and have 33x12.5 BFG M/T's on it. I had to tilt my front bumper slightly and trimmed the plastic air-damn... so really I see no reason why your tires wouldn't fit with a 4" lift
