but my question is...do these people that are making a quik buck by raising are gas prices so much...do these people relize that eventually the average american wont be able to afford to go to work? to buy there gas again..with no income theres no gass..there going to rake it up so high that...there going to all go bankrupt or a majority will.
like right now im about to go bankrupt due to gas prices....400 dollars a week for the truck 220 for the van...the van is new...cant trade it in...the truck is mine when i turn 16...
I have heard because of the hurricane over $3/gal by end of week. Even if it doesnt go up that much it sure isn't going down. I guess they know most people have no choice but to pay it.
Personally I think if the refineries are down as predicted that some of the strategic reserve should be released , that is is any US refineries have any capacity left. If they don't then no need to release any crude. That's the first step, then #2 as much as I hate federal government getting involved in any and everything, I think that all gas/fuel oil/diesel proces should be rolled back 1 week (before Katrina formed) and prices frozen until the refineries are back on line.
im not mainly talking about catrina...every couple of weeks we go up 20-30 cents anyways...almost 3 bucks here...we gotta find this source of our price dlilema and get rid of it...at all costs..
what are you drivin 120 miles round trip for and how many days a week? i drive 40-50 for school each day...only cause i live on one side of town and have to drive to the other to get to the right fire department...
You guys have nothing to complain about...try paying our prices in Canada. We drill, pump, refine the stuff up here, and we still pay more than you guys. I mean jeeeze we have a refinerey right here in town and it's cheaper in most back wood towns you guys have down there, than it is here. Right now I pay $1.09 / litre. Do the math and you'll see we're getting ripped off.
