460 dead spot x 3
my dad has not 1 but 3 trucks with 460s thay all have dead spots when u step on the gas. is there agood way to get rid of the dead spot? we've tryed the timing, carbs, is this normalor are we just jinksed

Sounds like an accelorator pump adjustment-carb problem or timing issue. I suppose all 3 engines are tuned the same way? That would probably be a clue. How about some spec.s? Timing set where, spark plugs, what was done to the carbs and what were the mixture screws set to, the choke set how and how was the accel. pump adjusted, or was it checked at all?
