open hood, look at driver side of firewall right by TFI module. It hangs inside the firewall on a bracket.

Perhpars Im wrong, but I thought only the diesels had the computer inside the engine bay...my 1994 F-150 has it behind the drivers side kickpanel.

Did Ford change that between 91 and 94?

Maybe I wasn't clear.

it's behind the steering support bracket, partially covered by the kick panel.

But you're not getting it out that way, through teh firewall.

Look for the big wiring harnesses plugged into the firewall. The computer is in a little compartment in the firewall. The harness closest to the drivers side fender, is the right one.
