EEC location

1990, EFI, 351W

Can somebody tell me where the EEC computer is in my truck.
I cant find the info anywhere, or Im not searching hard enough.
Also the PCM(PowerTrain Control Module) or are these the same thing.
Just curious.

the eec is located behind the driver side kick panel. not sure about the powertrain control module. that sounds like something to do with the tranny and is probably the mlp solenoid

Thanks, um, what is a kick panel. Does that mean the EEC is visible without removing anything.

No, the kick panel the the plastic down by the emergency brake. once that plastic is removed you will see the ecu. its shiny chrome looking. why are you needing to get to it?
