Those that attended the Aug meet heard about the Meet/Party I was having in Sept. for the rest of you this is the info.

Sept 17 (Saturday)
Time: 3pm till whenever

This is in conjuction with a Ford Focus group I belong to(FYI). It is more of a meet/party/thing among friends. There is on street parking and some off street parking. It is on a side road and one lane when people are parked on both sides. I ask no burnouts(or such) in the imediate area of the house. Havn't had any issues with the cops and would like to keep it that way. Oh ya, I think a state trooper lives a couple houses down the street (he may have moved tho).

There is room for tents and such in the back yard, not unlimited space but enough for a few and if there is enough people coming I will try and move things around for some more room.

These parties are typicaly pot luck style. I unfortunatly have no grill(it broke years ago and I haven't gotten a new one). I do have a G. Forman outdoor grill thingy and a small habachi(mini charcoal grill). It is always BYOB and I ask you stay if your gonna do any heavy drinking and don't have a DD(this doesn't mean designated drinker). Don't need any DWI's or worse.

Food so far is Pasta salad and some non-alcaholic beverages. Alcahol is always DYOB because the stuff is pricy. FYI, the local liquer store is about 5-10 minutes away and closes at 5pm on Saturday.

So far there are about 12 people planning on attending

Oh ya. One more thing. Guys, no running over the little cars

 

Unfortunantly I already have plans for that day, otherwise I would come. Thanks for letting us know about it though, and it was good to meet you yesterday.

 

Dan, I can't say for sure if I'll be able to come or not 'til shortly before. So far I'm working that evening/night and don't know if I'll be able to get it off. Btw, I was checking out your gallery, and would love to check out that 72 close up. Hopefully you'll be able to get back at it soon.

I don't think I'll be able to make it. I have a lot of things going right now and just can't be sure I'd have the time.

Checked out the new pics. I'm surprised only to see a little bit of surface rust here and there on it, considering its age. Looks like it only eats through at the radiator supprt and battery tray. What are you planning to do about the rust/bodywork and the truck in general?

 

Sorry guys, I can't make it this weekend. Would've loved to roll over some of the focii too. :-p
