Are all 2005 6.0 PCM's the same
Does anyone know if an 2005 6.0 Excursion has the same PCM as an 2005 6.0 F250 Super Duty?
Assuming both vehicals having 2005 build engines.
I'm trying to hook up the SEIC Mod on my excursion, but Ford didn't provide the eleven or so blunt cut upfitter wires on the excursion for us to use for the mod.
According to the wiring diagrams for the 2005 6.0 F250 SD the #12 pin on the PCM "C1381a" connector is the PTO signal that you would apply switched 12 volts to that would start the SEIC secquence.
The wiring diagrams for the 2005 6.0 Excursion pin # 12 on the PCM "C1381a" connector is not used.
So in therory I could add a pin and wire to the connector and use this for the SEIC Mod......
Any upfitters or techs have any idea on how to provide SEIC without buying the Ford AIC box?
