Well, Katrina and Rita tore up alot of things around the cost and a little Northward, but not to bad where I live, Ville Platte.
The only thing hurting right now is my pocket book, because of gas prices, and I know it's everyone feeling the pains of that. Gas was $2.00 before a hurican came, and now that most things are back to normal gas won't go under $2.65

Not to sound negative in the slightest, but after a major ordeal such as this, it stands to reason that elected officials should now be worried in their bids to be re-elected. I just hope that the majority of LA, finally "gets it", good ole boy system/syndrome gone once and for all. Accountability for actions and promises, if just enough people got mad enough, a big positive could be had once and for all, benefitting the people of LA, not its corporations and politicians.
