Hi, I have been trying to get on a post that may have an answer on my cc not working. But keep getting booted to update my profile that I just joined. I have exausted all of my thoughts. I have power, ground, the switches work the way they are suposed to except for the ohms on the resume button. The ohms on that are not to specs, but don't think that is it since it is not coming on at all. The ac volts for the ss is 4.5 which is in spec. Brake light switch shows voltage only when depressed. Off button goes to ground when pushed, on button goes to batt volts when pressed. Set is at 660 ohms.It has batt volts at the deactivation switch. But it still does not work. Replaced the servo, still no hint of even trying. Any help would be apprectiated.

Is deactivation switch closed when not pressurized? Needs to be closed for cruise to operate. Be careful of deactivation switch, see numerous posts on leaking switches and resulting fire problems. Good luck.
Sorry about not putting the year in there, its an 96 F150, 5.8, auto.
As for the deactivation switch, it is closed and has batt voltage at the servo. It is not leaking bf, which is good and I am pleased to find a lot of info on that piticular problem. Should probably check that daily. I have gotten a few ideas on things to check and try so will post on my findings when I get around to it on Monday. I didd notice an oily substance on the old servo. If the oil is leaking out of the servo, does it mean that the servo is bad?
Did some more checks, the deactivation switch had power going thru it and measured batt volts, but whyen I jumped it this time the cc worked. So I was working against two problems, the servo and the deactivation switch. By the way, the deactivation switch was leaking brake fluid. Has the updated unit now.
