Duraspark?

Did Ford make a Duraspark (or whatever their magnetic pickup distributor was called) with a standard (single port)vacuum advance cannister? I'd like to use this with my '73 302 and MSD 6A, but my setup uses just the single vacuum line to the advance. Any ideas?

Thanks, Polkat

See if you can find an Accel distributor that will fit. My 400 uses a single vacuum line distributor but I don't know about 302's.

You may want to check in the 302 forum.

My 77 F100 uses a single advance. You can just buy a new advance for a 77 302 if you don't need the whole distributor. Or you can buy the whole thing for a 77 302. It will work.

Yes ford did make a single port duraspark dist. for a 302. Go to a good auto parts store and tell them you want a remaned dist. for a 75 or newer 302 and they will ask you if you have a single or dual vacuume port. You will have to eat the core charge unless you can get them to take your old point dist. as a core.
