mods...
Bought my 2000 F350 used a few months ago.
1st "mods" - normal maintenance type stuff, changed oil, changed fuel filter, changed trans fluid
2nd mod - did the Kwik 6637 air filter
3rd mod - did the Walker BTM muffler
The Kwik 6637 and the Walker BTM gave very noticeable improvements in acceleration and low end feel. The throttle is much more responsive and the truck just "moves" better.
I chose to stay on the mild side of the modifications. My truck is a secondary vehicle and its main job is to haul our 36' gooseneck enclosed car trailer. There are more expensive things to do, but these 2 simple and inexpensive things are a great way to get started.
Next up:
the Zoodad intake mod, a larger trans cooler and maybe a Superchips programmer.
