Ok ill tell yall be fore my story.
I live on a ozarka creek and its a tourist hotspot...tulsans that type of thing...well instead of going to the campground and paying like 5 bucks they park on the bridge soemtimes it can get like 6 or 7 cars up and down there...
its illegal to park there.

on to the story...
Today we were driving along and there were two trucks parked side by side barely wide enough for my f150 to fit through...well we usually sling rocks all over there cars after we drive through there...well today we did it and one of the cars was a convertable chrysler sebring (sebring i think)
He gets pissed off and follows us on to our property follow us... he bumps us while going down the gravel road several times...then he passes us, its barely wide enough for a truck and trailer, and wacks into a tree. spins the butt end awround and smaks a tree with that...he gets out and trys to start a fight....trys to punch out the truck window

So we backed up and went down our highline...he somehow got his car out and follows us back to my house...i dont knwo what he was thinking..its like 1-2 miles off the road..he comes to the house and starts threatening us...by this time the law has been called about the accident..they arrive while hes still threatening us....

Its all taken care of now...
but what would you have done?
i almost shot him...
should have i shot him?
He was threatening my life on my property

i think i should have shot him

i dont have pics of the car but ill get some of the truck...its got some red marks on the bumper

 

The best thing to do in that sort of situation is to remain calm and let the law deal with the idiots. He was probably drunk, and you would have just gone to jail for a loooong time.

Im sorry but I had a little chuckle from this story, yep just shot him and drag him in your house then call the police, they will come and see he traspassed into your house and you shot him for self defense. .

You should of called the police about them being illeagely parked. Your lucky that he did not have a gun in his car or you may have not been able to tell ya story.

SO what happened did somebody get a ticket or somebbody get arrested.

If he threatened ya then you could press charges on him.

Nope not at all...he was illegally parking...its a gravel road...where we peeled out is where it transitions from pavement to gravel....tire slippage


and he followed us and iniated the fight....or w/e you wanna call it....
.22 in the leg would hsut him up...i really wanted to do it....pycho....

if you state allows the use of deadly force.... i think you should have blown his brains out.

you call the cops they come back..but you peel out theyll park off in the gravel on the side next time..i dont care if they swim there but i do care when it blocks the road.

My neighbor last year was hauling some horse in i think it was 18' and hit a couple of cars with it on the weigh through...she got her insurance for it...but its total bs.

its one of those things that this annoyance could be come dangerous....people let there kids jump off that bridge...run and stand right in the middle of the road...what if a drunk were to come down throught here (happens often) and hit a kid or a car...?

there were signs posted but they got ripped out after like a day..

you know whats sad is...my dad hags on me about think before you act...hes the one ....that was ...driving...

 

I'm not sure about all that. I mean if some one kicked rocks all over my truck i know I'd chase them down and beat them senceless. I think we all would. Plus shooting someone over that isn't a great idea, it kinda shows your not man enough to kick his teeth in, anyone can shoot somebody.

 

Not worth splatterin his brains all over the place, he totaled his car, and you got a good laugh.

 

A shotgun blast aimed in the air, then said shotgun pointed at miscreant would have sobered him up REAL quick. Deadly force can be used where I live if a person places you in fear of your life. A fool playing bumper tag and following me up to my home would make me fear for my life. Around here, I would get the fool's attention, and tell him the next shot is aimed at him! Further intrusion into my private space would be done at his own peril.

 

its not like we are the only ones that do it...the locals are smart they park off to the side..because people go like 60 through there...its one of those things...what if i wer to hit there car...would you rahter have a rock on your hood then me rearend you...


last fourth...my uncle was driving his ranger down through there...and he rear ended someone...totaled his truck...his truck and the other guys car went into the creek...

it was raining the guy in the truck that was sitting there was drunk with the car running..technically a dui..., and he tried to file charges against my uncle...
it was dismissed.

in the mornings that bridge fogs over...
the bridge is a lawsuit waiting ot happen
a drunk guy lays on the bridge and we run him over?
has happened before...if people new more about it...those lawsuit bs-ers would be laying on our bridge...throwing stuff at us...just trying to get a lawsuit out of us..

the really really sad part of this is...there ruining the creek...the take there trash and dump it into the creek...bear bottles cans...car tires...car parts etc...everybody wondes why theere are no fish at spring creek boat docks?(fort gibson lake) because of that...

I find this sad and humorous at the same time. You are worried about the remote possibility of running someone over on a bridge, yet you fantasize about murdering someone that threatened you after you basically vandalized their vehicle. Pretty pathetic if you asked me, which you did. If I witnessed you intentionally spinning rocks on my car, I'm pretty sure I would want to beat you too. If you and your dad fealt so strongly about it then why not fight the guy instead of running to your property and calling the police? It sounds like you guys do this all the time and finally got caught in the act, but you didn't want to face the consequences. Then again if you fight as terrible as you write, I think it was good idea that you just called the police. If you would have shot him, you would be spending time in prison where you would have to fight and hopefully learn how to write.
