steering sector removal
has or can i remove the sector from the bottom? i know the filter will have to come off and maybe the ehxast( comes out of the front of manfol dand truns down) I know the wheel and all have to come off. if i put it on ramps or stands would it work?? I dont want to pull it through the floor because the way my luck runs there will be no paint left on anything. Also is there any why besides taking the box appart? i have a manal and that is what it says to do but i dont want to. thanks ( also it is a floor shift 4 speed so no shift lik to worry about). thanks

If you remove the steering wheel the upper bearing inner race (a tapered piece) loosen the clamp bolt on the mast jacket at the steering gear, the pitman arm and the steering
box mounting bolts Jack the truck up as high as you can I think you'll be able
to get it out the bottom.
