i've cut the cats off everything i own. i can also feel a difference in power, as well as sound. if i went today to buy a new vehicle, cutting off the cats would be the first thing i'd do. where i live i have no emissions test.
Hate em' never had any on a vehicle. Don't care for them, plus all those guys at school with "Dual" exhaust think their straight pipe is loud. I fire up my 300 with no cats and 3" pipes. And ask what i've done to make it so loud. All i say i WORK
can i cut mine off my expy. the exhaust guy said i couldnt because it would make it run real bad. but idk. and it really dampens the sound with 4 of um on it
exaust guy said the same thing to me, ya cut em off your truck will run like crap and gas millage will be crappy, well cut em off anyways and runs better and better millage, on my fornt tank went from 220 miles, to 260 miles, 16.9 gallon tank.... but the exaust guy might not always be right.. from my experience anyways,...
dont have any emissions testing here, ive gutted my cats and only have the empty canasters. if theres ever a visual check, i look good to go. have been doing this for years. i also run a tractor muffler with flex pipe for the tail pipe. tsc is much cheaper than napa.
