Hi, im rebuilding my first engine and i need to know what kind of rebuild kit to buy. There are a lot of different ones, im sure you know what i mean, some include parts that others do not. How do i go about determining which kit to buy. This is for a 351w motor that i got from a junkyard. Its carbed and it seems to be in pretty good shape for coming out of a junkyard.

 

whats it going into and what use are you expecting out of it. how much are you willing to spend?

 

this motor is for my education, not for my car, i want to sell it after its rebuiilt. so i just want it to be a baisic rebuild kit, but also i dont want the motor to break once i sell it because i went cheap on a rebuild kit
