Does anyone know how to rermove a compact disc from the cd player
when the eject button fails to work. Looks like a trip to the dealer.
This is a single cd player in an 04 SD.
Thanks for any help......
My 6 disk does this on occasion. It doesn't eject but the player thinks it has. If I take another cd and give the stuck one a little bump, it will either reseat itself where I can eject it again or it will go ahead and spit it out. Single disk may be a different issue...
i have had this problem many times with many cd players it seems as they get hot or dirty the problem is much more apparent do what 420 suggests take a junk disk and push in on the stuck disc to either reengage it or help it come out

Yep. Mine does the same thing too.
It's pretty ironic if you think about it.......All these stupid 'bandaid' remedies on a $45,000.00 truck. Go figure.....
Glad it worked! I haven't noticed mine sticks on any one type of cd. It has stuck on new cds, burnt cds, and scratched cds, but it doesn't do it very often. I would say about once every month or two. Eventually, I will put in another system and not worry about it anymore. Until then, I will keep my spare cd handy.

My 6 disc has done it a couple times. First time I shut the truck off while it was ejecting and the second time it just got stuck. It was a home made cd and it was way thicker than the store bought cd's. It is possible that some store bought cd's are thicker than others. Mine would not eject no matter how many times I pushed it back in. I had to grab it with narrow needle nose pliers and pull it out.
