need help with '91 explorer air prob.
The blower motor works fine in my '91 explorer, but what I've noticed is that the air speed coming out of the vents is directly proportional to the speed that I am traveling down the road. Its as if an outside vent is stuck open. Some vehicles have a "vent" setting on the control panel, to let outside air flow in, but my explorer does not. Any tips on what to check?

the vacuum motor that controls the outside air door along with the heater plenum door and or the vacuum selector switch as for the vent setting for outside air that would be you vent position on the selector and normal air is vented from outdoor air only max AC and defrost are vented from inside of the cab heater or floor is also vented outside air and mix is vented both ways..
You may have a bad selector switch for vacuum or a leak on the vacuum manifold that all in dash componets hook up to.
