79' 302 Ground Kit.
From the negative (-) of the battery there was a 3ft 2ga cable running down to the block, this is a ended buy a ringlet although i couldn't tell you the exact size, but it was like 5/8th or 1/2" at the block end.
Also from the battery negative was a 7 and 1/2 foot 2ga cable running to a ground on the cab, i know it seems long, but it's a more direct route for the electricity in the cab and in the bed then one at the front of the truck. This was ended with a 3/8ths eyelet. This was connected to where there was a stock 4ga cable grounded to the chassis from the intake.
The previously mentioned ground from the intake was replaced with a 1ft (which was a little long) 2ga cable with 3/8ths eyelets on both sides and connected in the stock locations.
I cleaned all the grounds and reconnected everything with a good coating of Di-electric grease.
The final result was a noticeable smoother idle, brighter headlights, and probably better gas mileage,
Although i would reccomend running another ground to the alternator direcly to the battery. Also, might as well change the positive to a thicker cable while your at it.
Hope this helps sombody.

This whole mod only cost me $34.95.
On the 1980 ish and 90ish ford trucks have the ground cables underneath the truck which just slide or clips in to the frame and on the cab. They are gray to silver in color and are braided steel. I think this could also be used for good grounding of the truck or vehicle. I will be installing extra grounds on my ford trucks.
